SpliceMap didn't start as a product — it started as an internal tool. We were running our own GPON network on spreadsheets, printed diagrams, and whoever remembered which cabinet fed which building, and it wasn't holding up as the network grew.

So we built a system to track every ODF, closure, splitter, and connection accurately, and kept adding to it as real problems came up: planning mode for builds that aren't live yet, OTDR fault localization, in-building vertical mapping. It's still what we use to run our own network today.

Now we're opening it up to other fiber providers dealing with the same problem — because a network is only as reliable as the map you're using to run it.
